New here
« on: January 17, 2020, 08:05:11 pm »
I'm just new here and appreciate all the information I have been able to get from reading all the members experiences. I was first diagnosed in 1985 and didn't start treatment until December 18, 2019 with Mavyret. After 21 days I went for bloodwork and at day 30 a followup appointment with my gastroenterologist. My results came back that my Hep C after 21 days of treatment was not detected and now on my 2nd month on Mavyret.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the information I have been able to get from reading everyone's experiences.

Thanks Lynn and I will try to update next month and then again when ever I have my bloodwork done. I was a little concerned after reading some of the members who were on Mavyret and their various side effects. So far I haven't experienced any side effects with the medication and hope that I don't.

Well ya know people are more likely to complain than praise. Also just because you have a symptom occur while taking a medicine doesn’t mean it is the medicine although it’s hard to persuade someone away from that idea. While some of their issues could have been from treatment really looking at the data from clinical trials the majority of people tolerate treatment very well.
