12 week EOT
« on: November 18, 2015, 09:49:55 am »
After a 24 week course of Harvoni, my 12 week EOT was not detected as it was 1 week EOT & 5 weeks EOT.  The HCV was undetected at every 4 week interval during therapy and my liver enzymes are normal.

Even though I knew I had beat the disease I was still nervously awaiting the 12 week EOT results.

It's time to start living again without the dark cloud of uncertainty that has been following me around since 1973.  Good luck to all going through treatment.  Do not despair if you are one of the few who relapse.  Harvoni is the breakthrough drug but there are others in the pipeline that are designed to treat relapsers or those who have a resistant factor to Harvoni.  This disease is on it's way to eradication.

Thanks.

I think it's important to offer hope and encouragement to those who have this insidious disease.  It is on it's way to being eradicated.
