Getting Generic Harvoni?

I'm on Harvoni and coming up on my 12-week test in a week and a half, and as of 4 and 8 weeks was still detected - 6.4 million at start of treatment, 69 copies at 3 weeks, and <15 detected at 7 weeks. My last pill is June 14, and my "12 week" test us actually at 11 weeks, a week from this Monday.  I'm not unduly concerned at this point, but if I do come back still detected at 11 weeks, I would be very interested in buying another month's supply and extending my treatment to 16 weeks.

Anyone ever do this? Is it doable, and how would one go about it?

there were several here who were detected at end of treatment and even at 4 weeks post but went on to achieve SVR 12 most notably Dragon Slayer.

The only test that counts is the 12 week post treatment even EOT and detected does not mean failure

But hopefully you wont have to make those types of decisions

Baxter, Lynn's comments are what is currently accepted for reaching SVR.  Even if you are still detected at EOT, most likely your doctor would not do anything until another test at 12 wk EOT, as that is the accepted cure standard.

It's a bit nerve-wracking, but that's what the standard is at this time. So, just hang on and try to be patient --- not easy, I know!! FT
