Alisporivir clinical trial
« on: November 20, 2012, 02:17:10 pm »
Hi Everyone

It would be very interesting to get some feedback: I have recently been on the ill fated Alisporivir tripple therapy trial.

FDA stopped it, anyone else out there who have experience of this

Hi Sky, Welcome to the Forums!

No I wasn't invovled in the trial. But I found this report on the drug...

Hepatitis C drug alisporivir is effective, but pancreatitis a concern

It sounds like it had a chance to be an effective drug when they pulled the plug. Did you experience any problems?

I couldn't find any more recent news on the drug. Did Novartis just walk away from it?
