Taking Byetta with Solvaldi and Ribiviran combo
« on: July 16, 2014, 07:18:47 am »
Hi
I was wondering if anyone out there is taking Byetta while taking the S and R combo.  I mentioned it to my Dr. because it causes food to stick around in the stomach longer and wondered if that wad going to effect the timing or the effects of the meds. I haven't started yet but will soon and its a concern.  I will speak with him again but was just wondering if anyone else is taking this other med. I also take Metformin er 1000.

Thanks and the best to all, Virginia

The Byetta is unlikely to be problematic since it is by injection. The metformin may potentially interact with Sovaldi. Talk to your doc about the timing of these drugs so you can take them at times when they don't interact.
