Hep C Hospitalizations and Related Costs Are On the Rise

From 2004-2005, hep C-related hospitalizations cost around $900 million in the United States. By 2011 (the latest year we have data for) that's grown to $3.5 billion — a 291% overall cost increase.

Looks like the U.S. government is going to have to act fast with the aging baby boomer population.
