Thanks Gea,
Yes, there will be many more in the future. MY IDS went to the Liver Conference and was blown away by all news. Just think how revolutionary S&O was at the beginning of this year and how it has been trumped  by Harvoni.

Thank you Jill,
I still can't believe it! Last night I slept for 9 straight hours without waking up, my anxiety is finally gone.
Last night before bed, I said a big prayer of thanks for making it through this and for the support and love that I received from the members here. I also prayed for a cure for all the others on this road that I have reached the end of. It has been thirty years since I found out and now knowing that HepC is not going to kill me is one of the greatest gift that I could have ever receive.

Hi everyone - Bucky I'm soaking up your words like a thirsty sponge!

Today my doc sent me the lab orders to begin tracking how I'm doing - it's just a little scary I discovered.  I want to know how I'm doing, but am apprehensive about actually finding out.  Sort of crazy?  I get a knot in my stomach just thinking about it.  Deep breaths...  The first blood to be drawn (8 hr fasting) is to be on or after day 14 (Dec 16)  I don't understand some of what I see on the time frame so I'll be giving her a call.

I do want to pass on what she said about what to use for headache - she advised Tylenol, not to exceed 2000 grams per day.  I wish she had just used mg like on the bottle!  So, I looked it up and a gram = 1000 mg - so for my 2000 gm total I could use up to 6 325 mg tabs in 24 hrs.  I prefer to stick with the lower dose so I don't use more than I need and it will exit my body quicker.  Or, that's my theory:)  For those of you who already knew this, sorry, but maybe some of us will find it helpful.  Your own doc may advise differently, but I'd consider my doc (wonderful woman) conservative but realistic so I thought I'd share this for general information.

Texasdave, I'll be thinking about you tomorrow when you first hold that magic bottle in your hand and open it - I got tearful just to see it actually in my hand; tears of gratitude and joy.  Here's to the beginning of healing ...Islandgirl

Hello members,
Thanks for the congrats! I couldn't have done it without this wonderful forum. By all means if at any point anyone needs to let the tears flow let it happen. During my time before treatment, I had become sorta numb to emotions because of the fog in my head. Now I laugh & cry much to easily but it is from a pure joy that I haven't felt in many years.
