4 weeks undetected!
« on: January 14, 2015, 02:38:02 pm »
Just found out I am undetectable at 4 weeks of an 8 week Harvoni regimen. Hoping it stays this way. I do have a question though. Just started second bottle, and noticed I have a rash on my forearms? Both of them. Nowhere else. Asked my nurse if it's too far into this for a new side effect and she didn't sound surprised. Any one else get rashes?

Yes, but I was also on ribavirin since I took Harvoni via a clinical trial. This is a known side effect. I assume something was prescribed?

And congratulations! Doesn't it feel good?

Congrats!

Do you feel better physically now?
Better appetite? Better moods? More pep?

That's awesome, AJsMommy!!!  Gives me hope!

I have some skin irritation but not a real rash (knock on wood). But I'm only a week into treatment.

I've heard drinking a lot of water helps reduce side effects......
Recent MRI:
" Two LI-RADS 3 lesions in the right lobe of the liver", 24 wk Harvoni tx started 01/06/2015
2  previous tx attempts with interferon/ribavirin -> non-responder

Keep the faith. Better days should be right around the corner for you.
I'm not feeling too chipper at day 8 but I plan to stick it out for 7 more weeks.
