2nd Week on Sovaldi/RIBA
« on: January 16, 2015, 04:10:02 pm »
 :-\

Actually threw up at work and got sent home today.  I'm now feeling scatter brained and have pretty bad headaches.  There is no way I can sleep without Ambien.

Sure hoping this gets better.

You guys are great, btw!!!!

Welcome LonghornFan,

Sorry about the side effects, from what I have read you have a good chance that they will improve, but it does vary widely by individual.  I hope your first viral load blood test make it all worth while, and you find yourself on the road to cure.

And thanks for the nice comments about the forum.  The contributors here are indeed helpful and awesome.

Good luck,
jack

@longhornfan, How long will you be on tx? I'm not on s/r combo so I can't speak about the different side effects, but there are lots of people here that are so they can help pull you through. good luck with your journey and feel better

Thanks for the warm welcome!

@kate, I'm on a 12 week treatment with 10 weeks to go.  I'm going to have a chat with my Gastro about treating some of the side effects to help make this a more comfortable process.

Hope everyone is having a safe and healthy weekend!!!

@longhornfan, do you go to see the doc soon, or can you just call for ideas about s/s? I know with the harvoni most of the just kind of come and go but overall not bad at all, today I'm actualty kinda tired, I think it may be that I drank mostly coffee this am instead of my water lol. (Weekends are hard with that) either way I'm going with the tired and chilling on the couch with the dog, reading and playing with the phone. Feel well soon. Kate
