undetectable at 5 weeks
« on: September 15, 2015, 08:07:27 pm »
Got one thing right. I have bad side effects and i feel like hell but I'm already undetectable. I was sentenced to 12 weeks, I wanted to make a deal for 8 but they insist  it could come back. We'll see if the sides diminish. Anyway, I'm happy.

That's awesome Juju!

I'm with you These sides are really bad for me too. But hang in there and def go through the full treatment. I've read some posts where people didn't want to finish and they relapsed. Then they've developed resistance to the meds and can't get re-treated. Insurance won't approve because of resistance etc. etc.

You're very blessed, like me, to be able to get these meds. So many are getting denied or put on hold..

UNDETECTABLE!!! Very happy for you!

I know. my doc insists I finish the 12 since I've had this for ummm, lemme count now 50 years and have some damage. No cirrhosis just damage. I heard that the earlier you get it in life the better off you are. Seems that way in my case, does anyone know if that's really true?

I have read a couple of articles that say research does suggest the earlier you get it in life the better. My prognosis is the same as yours, just some damage, no cirrhosis. So go us huh?!! :D

You and I can just be side effect pals! I promise I will never tell you to suck it up, lol :D

Thank you, Bye. I appreciate this. Where are you in treatment? How long are you supposed to take it?

I'm a bit behind you. I'm 9 days in. Nevertheless, I'm here for you... Oh, and I'm on a 12 week course also. So, I'll be here to see you through EOT and post tx :)
