Last pil is History
« on: October 06, 2015, 01:56:11 pm »
Well it's over, done , finished. Took My last PILL this morning at 6:15 AM!!! Feel oddly exuberant. IS this the the Harvoni High You guys speak of?. To bad it's the last day!! I could get used to this. Skin & scalp all tingly. Plenty of energy still here at lunch time. Not feeling bitchy at all. Very Zen feeling inside , yet surrounded by turmoil with every step. Feel like I could eat a whole side of beef in one sitting. Normally as I think of waiting for labs. , test results, Doctors, Ins. agents and the like I become very agitated. Not today though. Very mellow , which is out of character for Me. Usually wound up like an eight day clock.
I will try to channel these feelings forward to tomorrow , and the next day , and so on. The inevitable anxiety is bound to creep up sooner or later. It always does. With all of the things going on around Me at the moment , none of it seems to be of consequence to Me right now. I don't want to think of anything related to Hep C or treatment or Doctors or Labs. or tests or Hospitals!!!! Screw all of that , it ain't goin Nowhere any time soon. Revel in the momentary peaceful easy feeling inside at THIS moment. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket tonite. Been shootin' craps most of My life anyway. maybe My luck is changing for the better.  We'll see!!!
HAPPY DANCES, VIRTUAL BARN DANCE BBQ & BEER BUST IS ON YA'LL! PARTY UNTIL YOU PEE ALL OVER YOURSELF AND START ALL OVER AGAIN! THE VIRTUAL BEER IS ON ME GUYS! HAPPY GRADUATION TO EOT EVERYONE! I'M WAITING FOR THE REST OF YOU! NO ONE LEFT BEHIND!!!!!!!

Awesome Tommy!  It's a great feeling, that peace and sense of well-being.  When I have those feelings I ride that wave as far as I can... then I wait for the next one. HA.

Harvoni is one of the best things ever invented in science as far as I'm concerned.

We have lived this hepc thing for so long, especially this year, with pre-treatment, treatment and all of it's ups and downs, etc., etc., to me one of the most challenging things is to get the obsession about it out of my brain.  Shhhh, do you hear it?....  Life is calling...

Okay. I'm 3 days late to the party (and a dollar short - haha!). But CONGRATS TOMMY! You have made it to the Other Side (which sounds kind of spooky, really… and with Halloween coming up, ya just never know).

May the farce be with you! And good luck on all your post-tx labs.

kim :)
