Interactions Epidural Steroid for Spinal Stenosis and Harvoni
« on: October 27, 2015, 03:37:14 am »
I had this appointment for over a month now, just started Harvoni Sunday. Should I have any concern about interactions epidural steroid for spinal stenosis and Harvoni? Also not sure if they are doing anesthesia or just a mild sedative.

I am making calls tomorrow to doctor's to check this out and will post here what I am told. Thought this is a good place to post it in case anyone else ever runs into the same thing.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I was told by my Gastroenterologist it would be fine. However, I have read in more than one place on the Internet some issues have come up when combining Harvoni and steroids. So, I will put off the spinal injections for after I complete Harvoni treatment. I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. Especially how different each person's system reacts so differently to Harvoni.
