Negative for virus C RNA at week 4
« on: February 22, 2016, 10:53:49 am »
Hi all. Hope you're all doing well.

38th day of treatment with Harvoni in a 8 Week treatment started on the January 15th 2016.

So i took blood tests on the 29th January and on the February 12th , friday Feb19th i had an apointment with the doctor who gave me the good news... Negative VL on both samples.

I don't want to get to excited because i know that this happend to some people and then the virus came back post treatment, none the less i'm happy because the blood tests were all good.

I should be done from the treatment by March 10th and then if all is still ok just wait for 12 Weeks to know the veredict.

Best regards to you all.

Thank you very much. I'm hep c + since 1992 with genotype 1b. My last virus count was 5.000 (i'm not to sure) in 2009 and the treatment is 8 weeks on Harvoni. On my fibro scan says mild fibrosis.
