27 Days on Harvoni " Undetectable"
« on: November 28, 2016, 02:24:14 pm »
Just got home from my Dr.'s Visit.
I took my 27th pill this morning & picked up my second round.
I had blood work done on Friday morning & Dr said is Undetectable!
Im soo happy.
He said we can take it as a win or wait until the end.
I dont want to be let down, God forbid it returns but I am very optimistic.
Also is going to do another FibroScan at my next blood work the 19th
Because I did not fast for the first Scan he thinks it may be another reason that its possibly showing F3-F4 & it may be Less? So he said lets do it again..
Also said he would like to schedule an ultrasound of the liver just to do a screening, & a throat scope to check the esophagus also a screening.
Are these normal routine exams?
He assured me there was nothing out of the ordinary but he wants to be completely thorough.
I guess-all in all its good news.
I guess for whatever reason i just dont feel out of the woods yet?
So onward I go!!
Thanks again for all past, present & future responces!

Andrew let me know the status when you find out.
Im sure it will be the same outcome for you.
This medication is amazing.
A virus that has overtaken my Liver for over 20 years & had caused God know what else is eradicated to an undetectable level in 27 days!!!!! Its really unbelievable...
God willing the end result after the waiting period will also be the same but my Dr. Is already chalking it up as good to go! So thats a very positive sign!!

Glad to hear another success stories on curing this disease with Harvoni. At my 5 week blood test I was told by my doctor I was cured and the virus is non-detected. I am about 2 weeks away from my 84th pill and I was surprised and relieved that they did not discontinue my treatment after 8 weeks. My next blood test is in about 5 months and I expect and hope for the same prognosis.
