Check-in HARVONI POST 8 WK TX. Results
« on: April 04, 2017, 08:20:07 am »
It's been a little over a week since I finished Tx and waiting to get my hands on copies before I posted anything. At EOT week 8, I am UD- 0. My results for cryoglobulinemia are still pending due to the procedure to obtain the results.
I've had periods of lethargy, some continuing insomnia, moments of depression which pass and don't last long. There have been a couple of days when I could sleep all day long. Brain fog is intermittent. Scalp itchiness and a slight sensitivity of my skin and eyes to sunlight- not common for others I've read, I attribute this to a small degree of electrolyte imbalance. All in all, it's been interesting, not at all as horrific as I anticipated. My last 12 week VL labs will be near the end of June and if I have SVR, I will be considered "cured" here, in this country. Pending further results, i.e., the cryo, I won't be checking in again until I receive those post Tx results. I'll be happy to answer questions and welcome anyone who is considering this treatment.

Big hugs to all of you and hoping the best for all of us!
